Advocacy
Advocacy is an essential part of the Network Media Program's and EUMAP's work. Monitoring reports and other documents are prepared with the purpose of helping to bring about change where this is needed. Reports usually include specific, achievable policy recommendations which are promoted by a range of advocacy activities, following publication.
Advocacy based on a report's findings and recommendations is conducted with partner organisations at the local, national and international levels. This activity includes interaction with local authorities, governments and international organisations, such as the European Union and the Council of Europe, as well as relations with other civil society organisations, media and other stakeholders. Every advocacy campaign is tailored to its purpose.
