Mapping Digital MediaThe Mapping Digital Media project examines in-depth changes across the media landscape, aims to build bridges between researchers and policy-makers, activists, academics, and standard-setters across the world. Covering 60 countries, the project examines how these changes affect the core democratic service that any media system should provide—news about political, economic and social affairs. The aim of the MDM project is to assess the impact of these changes on the core democratic service that any media system should provide. In addition to the country reports, the project includes background papers on key topics related to digital media. These papers form the Mapping Digital Media Reference Series. |
