Between 2008 and 2010 the Salzburg Global Seminar, the Knight Foundation, and the Global Forum for Media Development are organising a series of leadership meetings. Their aim is to consider the use of digital tools and techniques to both decrease the waste and increase the flow of money into projects that improve journalism. The first meeting in this series is 2020 Vision: Setting a Long-term Agenda for Global Media Development, which is to take place between 3 and 7 October 2008.
