- Dual launch of TV across Europe Follow-up Reports 2008 in Bratislava and Prague
- In a unique dual presentation in two cities, the Open Society Foundation's Media Program, the Open Society Institute's EUMAP and their partners are launching the Television across Europe: Follow-up Reports 2008 on the Czech Republic and Slovakia on two consecutive days. The launch events are taking place on 12 February in Bratislava and 13 February in Prague.

- OSI and CJI to launch Romanian 2008 Follow-Up Report
- On 19 May 2008 in Bucharest the Romanian Center for Independent Journalism (Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent, CJI) and the Open Society Institute (OSI) will present a new report on the situation of broadcasting in Romania. The report, drafted by Manuela Preoteasa, is part of the series Television across Europe: Follow-up Reports 2008. It is available in both English and Romanian.

- EUMAP and NMP announce the launch of another report in the series, TV across Europe: Follow-up Reports 2008. The country report on Italy is especially topical in light of Silvio Berlusconi's election victory of 14 April.
