Dual launch of TV across Europe Follow-up Reports 2008 in Bratislava and Prague
In a unique dual presentation in two cities, the Open Society Foundation's Media Program, the Open Society Institute's EUMAP and their partners are launching the Television across Europe: Follow-up Reports 2008 on the Czech Republic and Slovakia on two consecutive days. The launch events are taking place on 12 February in Bratislava and 13 February in Prague.

The launch events will present the two Follow-up reports as well as the European overview that was produced on the basis of all the nine country reports in the follow-up series. They will furthermore introduce the results of a content analysis study of selected Slovak and Czech TV stations, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis, which was conducted in November-December 2008.
The Slovak country report in the series Television across Europe: Follow-up reports 2008 was prepared by MEMO 98, and is now also available in Slovak translation.
