Television across Europe: regulation, policy and independence (2008-2009)
EUMAP and the Media Program are pleased to publish monitoring reports on television in Montenegro and Kosovo which complete the original 2005 Television across Europe project.

- The countries covered by Television across Europe reports in 2008
In its first phase, the research project on Television across Europe: regulation, policy and independence involved detailed monitoring of television in 20 countries. The 20 reports were published in 2005, with an Overview analysis.
Three years on, EUMAP and the Media Program are pleased to publish monitoring reports on television in Montenegro and Kosovo – two entities in South-Eastern Europe that have declared sovereignty since 2005. In both these countries, broadcasting and its reform have been closely involved with momentous political processes, affecting all of society.
The report on Montenegro was published in November 2008. The report on Kosovo has been published in June 2009. Launch events to present the report there will follow.
These reports complete the original Television across Europe project. Taken together with the nine Follow-up Reports 2008, they present a panoramic survey of television in Europe's new democracies.
