TV across Europe Follow-up Reports 2008: First four country reports released
Following the publication of the original set of 'TV Across Europe' reports on 20 countries, which was released between October 2005 and May 2006, EUMAP and NMP announce the launch of the first four reports of the TV across Europe: Follow-up Reports 2008 project. These four country reports provide an update of developments in Albania, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Romania.
The TV across Europe: Follow-up Reports 2008 cover nine of the twenty countries included in the original monitoring. The remaining five reports, about the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, the Republic of Macedonia and Slovakia will follow within the next six weeks. An international overview of the TV Across Europe Follow-up Reports 2008 will be published in June 2008 following the completion of the full set of country reports.
EUMAP and NMP took the initiative to publish a set of nine general country updates in order to cover key developments that have taken place in these countries since the release of the original set of reports. The follow-up monitoring is being undertaken on the basis of an updated version of the initial reporting methodology, and where possible by the country reporters involved in the original monitoring.
