Sipas nje raporti te ri te Institutit per Shoqeri te Hapur (OSI,) media elektronike ne Shqiperi vazhdon te jete e pakonsoliduar. Ky raport, pjese e serise ‘Televizioni ne Europe: raportet vijuese 2008’, shpreh shqetesim per qendrueshmerine e sektorit shqiptar te transmetimeve, i cili eshte i mbipopulluar. Gjithashtu raporti ngre pyetje per te ardhmen e transmetuesit publik, i cili ka mbetur ne tranzicion. Se fundmi, raporti paralajmeron per nje gjendje qe prek cilesine e informacionit qe u percillet qytetareve shqiptare.
